Our Technology

We continuously invest in the newest technology, and educate ourselves on the latest procedural best practices.

Springbrook X-Ray Technology

Itero

Itero is a digital scanning system which creates a 3-D model in which crown, bridges, night guards, Invisalign liners, and retainers can be made. Instead of using a traditional impression, Itero uses a camera which takes images from different angles. These images are then synthesized to create a model with maximum precision. This new technology is more accurate then the traditional impressions, and, most importantly, patients agree that it is more comfortable!

Digital Doc Intraoral Camera

This cutting edge camera has an eight-point LED light and a high definition, high-resolution sensor for pictures with impeccable quality and clarity. It is an amazing diagnostic tool for viewing different angles in the mouth that are not easily seen or highlighted with mirrors or traditional cameras. The camera helps us get a closer look at any potential issues and allows our patients to see what we see. These digital images are also excellent for gaining procedure acceptance from insurance companies, resulting in better coverage for our patients.

Digital X-rays

Digital X-rays allow us to take images of teeth and place them in an imaging program. Within the imaging program there are a number of tools that allow the dentist and hygienist to look closely at teeth and the surrounding structures with incredible accuracy. The patient also benefits, as digital X-rays emit 80% less radiation than standard X-rays.

Zoom Whitening

Zoom Whitening

Zoom WhiteSpeed uses the most advanced LED light technology to get teeth to their whitest shade. At Springbrook Dental, we start with a consultation appointment to review whether you are a good candidate for in-office whitening. Contraindications (treatment inhibitors) for this treatment include:

  • Pregnancy or nursing mothers
  • Active periodontal disease
  • Failing restorations
  • Oral health concerns
  • Recommended minimum age for treatment 16 y/o

Once we asses that we can move forward, we will digitally scan your teeth for custom trays and provide you with a fluoride toothpaste for daily home use over the following two weeks prior to treatment.

On the day of your appointment, there will be three 15-minute intervals of LED light treatment. Afterward, you will receive a gel to decrease sensitivity, a tube of home whitening solution for maintenance, and post-treatment instructions (see links below).
